Each year during our February Global Emphasis Month, First Pres supports two of our global partners by raising funds for special projects that are over and above our annual budget. This year we are inviting you to give to the following special projects for our African partners:
North Africa
Jordan and Michelle are launching a special focus on ministry outside the capital city. This expansion includes specialized websites that will focus on four specific towns. They will also hire part-time staff to reach out to contacts who respond with interest and questions about following Jesus.
Amount Needed: $13,000
Kenya
Jackie Obhiambo is serving and training an underserved and often overlooked part of the population-widows and children. Nayanam ministries assists widows with economic support and job training, health care and hygiene, discipleship. The global mission team from First Pres is inviting you to help provide housing for widows and their children. Each house costs $5,500 and we would like to send the funds to build five houses.
Amount Needed: $27,500
