The Stephen Ministry

We are an active Stephen Ministry congregation.  Stephen Ministry is a system through which members of First Presbyterian Church are trained and organized to help provide Christian caregiving to other members of our congregation.  Our Stephen Ministers are people with special gifts for caring who use their gifts to bring Christ’s love to those in need.

GriefShare Program

Every Fall we offer a Griefshare program to our church members who have experienced the loss of a loved one.  Griefshare is a support group which meets weekly in the church library.

Meal Assistance

For church members who are ill or homebound, we deliver meals and/or grocery shop on a temporary basis.  In addition, in-home communion from pastors and elders is available to those unable to attend regular services. Temporary meal delivery is also provided for parents of newborns.
