Manatee Queen Boat Trip
We are starting the first official month of summer off with a bang! Join us Friday, June 1st for a lovely boat ride and scenic early bird dinner.
The boat will leave at 2:30 pm from Jetty’s Restaurant across from the Jupiter Lighthouse, on the corner of US1 and A1A. We’ll set sail for all points north of the lighthouse and see some of the local superstar’s homes and admire the natural beauty of the area. Then at 4:30 we’ll dock and enjoy an early bird dinner at Jetty’s Restaurant while sitting on the patio enjoying the lighthouse view. Cost for the boat trip is $24.00 and dinner is standard menu prices (not included).

SENIOR DINNER – A Special Picnic for our last dinner till fall.
Our last Senior Dinner before fall will be on Saturday, June 23rd with an old fashioned summer picnic right here in Fellowship Hall. We’ll serve hot dogs, hamburgers, cheeseburgers and all the trimmings along with baked beans and potato salad, but without all the bugs and heat.
After dinner we’ll add another fun twist to the evening with our First Annual Senior’s Dessert Contest judged by a distinguished panel of professional chefs from our church. So please bring your favorite dessert, homemade or otherwise, and enter the contest. All of the desserts will then be available for purchase with the proceeds going to the church.

Weekly Senior Events
Here’s what’s up:
We continue to have our weekly Thursday Bridge group, from 1:00 – 3:30 pm in the FH. Call Loraine at 691-8983 if you want to join in the fun! Light refreshments are served and prizes are awarded for high score, low score and being the last person of the day to take a trick with a deuce. You don’t need to come with a partner – we’ll fix you up with someone nice! We play “Party” Bridge, not Duplicate.
Our Senior Advisory Board meeting will be held in the Library on the second Monday, of each month at 7:00 pm. Please join us, call Katie, 622-8818 x 107.
