Earn a Book to Keep

Memorize your bible verses. It is a joy to see so many smiling faces in the Library, including the parents and faithful helpers.

Amnesty for Overdue Books!

Please help us out by checking your bookshelves for First Presbyterian Children’s Library materials. If you find that you have forgotten to return a book or videotape and it is overdue, even if it is long overdue, please return it to the library as soon as possible. We promise,  no questions will be asked, and no fines will be levied! Thanks for your help.

Books of the Month

Come in and look at all the new books we have added to our shelves, especially those mentioned in Miss Lois’ article. Pick out a special book you’d like to earn in our New Reading Challenge!

Book Reviews

The Children’s Library is the perfect place to find books for school book reports, and we would love to publish your report in this spot on our website, as well as in KidsPress. If you would like to share your views on a book you have read, please email us at kitloveskids@fpcnpb.org.

Gift Book Program

Our Gift Book Program provides an opportunity for the children of our church to be remembered or to remember another at the time of a special occasion in their lives. By honoring a child with a gift book, you will be helping our Children’s Libray collection to grow, while giving a lasting gift that will benefit many. All gift books will include a special bookplate honoring the child and identifying the occasion and the donor. In addition, a letter notifying the child of your selection will be sent from the church. Opportunities to give a gift book include:

  • Baptism
  • Birthday
  • Christmas
  • Church Membership
  • Easter
  • Scholastic Achievement
  • Valentine’s Day
  • Athletic Achievement
  • First Day of School
  • Last Day of School
  • Just Because You Love Them
