Our purpose and desire here is to train Christian leaders that are able to go out and share the good news of Jesus Christ with all those that they come into contact with. From Middle School through College, we have 10 years to invest in students’ lives to help them understand what it means to be a disciple of the Living God.

READ MORE...The Fellowship Committee is responsible for showing hospitality and making people feel warmly welcomed here at First Pres. They are the greeters with big smiles and hearty handshakes out in our courtyard every Sunday morning. They also host “Coffee in the Courtyard,” New Members Classes, Volunteer Opportunities, and Emmaus weekend retreats. The Fellowship committee also compiles and prints our Advent and Lenten devotionals every year.

Located in the Christian Education Building, Room 104, the Children’s Library contains hundreds of books, as well as a reading/video/listening center for children and parents.

READ MORE...Community ConneXion began as a Sunday class and has since become a social group of couples and their children. They get together once a month or so for fun family style events.
We also offer “Team Bad Frog” which consists of athletes within our group who like to compete. Run, Swim, Bike.

Whether you desire to meet early in the morning, for lunch, or for dinner, we welcome you. Each of these groups is designed to meet the needs of men in all different stages of life. We also send out groups of students and adults to do various short term missions work. Approximately 17% of our annual budget is designated for missions and mission activities.

First Presbyterian Church supports thirty seven local and national mission agencies that help feed and clothe the homeless, care for children and those in prison, and reach people with the Gospel message in various walks of life.

Activities include: Monthly dinners or potlucks, with speakers, movies or game nights afterward. “Day trip” monthly events to places of interest throughout Florida. The “Out-to-Lunch Bunch” first-Friday-of-the-month luncheon club. Bridge, every Thursday afternoon in our Fellowship Hall. Service opportunities in local missions and ministries. Periodic health screenings and seminars.
